The cracks in your broken smile will never leave my mind, where the memories of us once lingered through. Your eyes are no longer filled with the hope it once had, back when the pure freedom anticipated our use of it. Now there is only the regret of letting it slip past us, because our hearts were beating like a drum and we were blissfully unaware of the sun setting on the days spent in love.

The breath that past from you to me

When the sun disappears into the night sky and the stars dance above our heads, I see your smile and my heart can't help but melt on the sleeve where I wear it. I become breathless as my lungs expand, crushing the hear that beats for you, my eyes fill with tears knowing you don't feel the same and though the fire still burns between us, the sun will bring a new day and the night will be forgotten with the moon as our only witness.

I'd write your name in poetry,if I only knew how

The sun casts shadows on your face and peeks through your hair, dancing shadows upon mine. The urge is there to take hold of your hand and trace our lifes with our footprints in the sand. ... My heart beats like thunder in a cloudless sky while the sun reflects in eyes and a whisper falls off your lips and into the ground where I lay. The whisper echos to the heavens, tears pouring down my cheeks and it rains in your heart. You walk away, knowing I won't be there to trace our lifes with our footprints in the sand.

Images of you linger in my mind as the leaves turn to fire, dance in the wind and the autumn breeze blows away the warmth of your smile. Memories of you will never fade just as your touch did, though I wish I could see your lips curl slightly in the morning sun. The thought of you still makes my blood rise in my cheeks and a smile will lazily fall on my face. And as the leaves turn to fire, you will trail my thoughts leaving nothing but footprints in my heart.

I'm asking you something yet you turn away, I want to tell you something but you don't hear what I have to say. When the truth comes out, you stand there avoiding my eyes, And I wish that for once you could search inside. What you really feel, what really makes your heart skip a beat, Here I am standing my ground,yet you can't stand on your own two feet. The words escape my trembling lips as I pour my soul, To the one person I have learned to love the most. I take a step forward, you take two steps back, You say I need to give you some slack. I try to speak but the words are no longer there, You walk away leaving me bare.

Hey everybody, To those who might actually read this, I'm sorry that I haven't submitted anything for a very long time, My life has changed a lot in the past year and I haven't had time at all to have any inspiration in writing or photography. I am happy, no worries, just things could be time consuming. This year I have graduated from high school and started college and I'm now in my 2nd semester and there is a very special someone :3 I just submitted a new poem, if you care to check it out, that would be amazing! I wake up to the sound of music

Salutations, It's been a while since I've updated anything at all...for some reason I haven't had the inspiration to write anything. For those who actually read this, which I highly doubt there's anyone, I will fill you in on my oh-so-wonderful life (and that was not sarcasm). High school is approximately 20 days from officially ending, and it will come the time of pure freedom known as summer. Oh, the things I will do this summer but unfortunately, there's a brick wall called 'exams'  that I do not know how to climb. Anyway, the good news is, that I am content with myself and the people who surround me :) God bless
